Soccer is a type of game which could be played also like a simple recreation that would only demand an open ground and a round ball, which could be kicked without difficulty. But if you would like to have it as an organized game then it requires proper soccer equipment for the game and also for the players. The key things you need to have in order to start playing the game are the ball, the goal and the field.
Of course the main equipment there is the ball itself. In a formal and organized soccer matches, companies nowadays are launching balls made from new materials that would make the ball easier to be manipulated and controlled. These materials give the players the ability to have a smooth flight in transferring the ball. The ball is around 27-28 inches in circle. Its weight should not exceed 16 ounces nor be less than 14 ounces. It has 32 pentagonal panels. Next thing you need are the goals. Soccer goals may vary in area depending on the age of the players, space availability, and the type of game they choose to play. In formal organized soccer game, goals are made of metal and a net, but for simple games it could be made in plastic and a net. The crossbar which holds the net is attached to two posts which are 8 yards apart.
In the part of the players, they use shin guards under their socks to protect their shin. Goalie has a different color of uniform than the others to distinguish them easily. But he may use gloves and particular clothes too. Other things such as equipment bags, soccer jerseys, matching socks and shorts may provide impressive look for a competitive match.
